After reviewing your request, we'll send a personalised quote and a secure payment link to your email. Your custom cake will be ready for pickup or delivery on your chosen date.
About us
We noticed something missing in the world of baking — cakes that looked like works of art but also tasted absolutely divine. Too often, beautifully decorated cakes were dry and bland, while the ones that tasted amazing had little visual appeal.
In 2021, we decided to change that. We founded IM Cakes on a simple belief: you shouldn't have to choose between a cake that looks stunning and one that melts in your mouth. Every creation from our kitchen is crafted with premium ingredients, baked to perfection, and decorated with meticulous attention to detail.
Our story
What started as a passion project in our home kitchen in 2021 quickly grew into something much bigger. Friends and family couldn't get enough of our creations — cakes that were as delicious as they were beautiful.
Word spread, and soon we were baking for weddings, birthdays, and celebrations across town. Today, we're proud to offer a full range of cakes, cupcakes, and baking supplies, all while staying true to our mission: creating baked goods that delight both the eyes and the taste buds.

Terms & Conditions
General
By placing an order with IM Cakes, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
IM Cakes is an online cake shop. We do not keep cake displays or ready-made cakes in store. All cakes are made to order.
All standard cake orders must be placed and fully paid for at least 3 days (72 hours) in advance to secure your booking.
Emergency or short-notice orders are subject to availability and prior confirmation by us. For urgent orders, kindly call or WhatsApp us directly before placing your order.
We reserve the right to refuse service or decline any order at our discretion.
Please note that products may differ slightly from reference images, as all cakes are handmade.
Once an order has been collected, all responsibility and risk pass to the customer.
For health and safety reasons, we do not accept returns of any food products.
Collections
IM Cakes operates on a collection-only basis. We currently do not offer deliveries.
Collection times are as follows:
Weekdays
07:00 AM – 07:30 AM
05:00 PM – 06:00 PM
Saturdays
08:00 AM – 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM - 06:00PM
Sundays
01:00 PM – 06:00 PM
Customers are responsible for collecting orders during the allocated collection times.
If an order is not collected within 48 hours of the agreed collection date and time, the order may be disposed of without notice and no refund or credit will be issued.
Orders & Payments
Orders are only confirmed once full payment has been received.
Please ensure that all order details provided are correct, including:
- Name
- Contact number
- Collection date and time
- Cake design and flavour
Any changes to an order after confirmation may not be possible and are subject to our approval and availability.
Proof of payment must be retained and may be requested when collecting your order.
Cancellations & Changes
Any cancellation or change to a standard order must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled collection date.
Approved cancellations may be subject to an administration fee of 5% of the total order value.
Changes requested less than 48 hours before collection may not be accommodated.
Emergency or short-notice orders cannot be cancelled or altered once confirmed.
Cake Care & Transportation
Cakes are delicate and heat-sensitive.
When collecting your cake:
- Ensure there is enough flat space in your vehicle.
- Place the cake on a level surface, preferably the passenger footwell or boot floor.
- Keep your vehicle cool with air conditioning.
- Drive carefully and avoid sudden stops or sharp turns.
We are not responsible for any damage to cakes once they have left our premises.
For best freshness:
- Store cakes in the fridge for up to 5 days.
- If refrigerated, remove the cake from the fridge at least 30 minutes before serving to allow it to return to room temperature for the best taste and texture.
- Keep cakes away from direct sunlight and heat.
- Leftovers should be stored in an airtight container.
Refunds
Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis.
If there is an issue with your order, you must notify us immediately upon collection and provide:
- Proof of purchase
- Photos of the product where applicable
Refunds or credits remain solely at the discretion of IM Cakes.
Approved refunds may take 7–14 business days to reflect, depending on your bank.
No refunds or credits will be issued for:
- Failure to collect orders
- Change of mind
- Damage after collection
- Incorrect storage or handling by the customer
Baking Accessories & Ingredients
Baking accessories and ingredients are subject to availability and may be collected during the next available collection slot once full payment has been received and confirmed.
Orders will only be processed after proof of payment has been received. Customers will be notified when their order is ready for collection.
Allergens & Disclaimer
Our products may contain or come into contact with common allergens including:
- Dairy
- Eggs
- Wheat
- Gluten
- Nuts
- Chocolate
- Food colourants
While we take reasonable care during preparation, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Customers are responsible for informing us of any allergies before placing an order.
IM Cakes will not be held liable for allergic reactions or any adverse effects resulting from consumption of our products.
